Haven Rock is a new church planting that came to Birmingham in March 2016. It was founded on the conviction that we all need something more than religion. We need to develop a real relationship with Jesus. We believe that a Church should be a place that helps connections take place. It should be a safe place that is full of love and a place where miracles happen. We are devoted to being an Acts 2:42-47 family. We are also devoted to helping each member unlock the amazing power of personal discipleship.
What to Expect
Expect love, and lots of it. Come as you are. People come from all types of backgrounds, so whether you wear jeans or a suit, have piercings or are totally corporate, you’ll fit right in. Just bring your Bible and a smile and we’ll see you at church.

What we believe
Father, Son, & Holy Spirit
We believe in God the Father, in Jesus the Son, both Savior and Lord, and in the Holy Spirit, who in-dwells every Christian.
The Bible
We believe that all scriptures are inspired by God and are the standard for our life. We believe the scriptures teach that we are saved by grace and that grace should inspire us to live a life worthy of His calling and to help others to do the same (2 Corinthians 5:14-20).
Saved by Grace
We believe that people are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus which is evidenced when they believe, confess Jesus as Lord, repent of their sins, and are baptized for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38). We are convinced that this is God’s plan for salvation.
Disciples of Jesus Christ
We believe that while every individual Christian is called to be a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Bible teaches that we are all connected, having been added to the body of Christ, the Church, and called to be integral parts in the local congregation (1 Corinthians 12:12-27).
Light to the World
We believe the church should always reflect God’s call to be a light to the world as a multicultural and multiracial, loving, one-another focused, Christ centered family of believers committed to serving one another and the community, maturing its members and helping to save the lost.
The Great Commission
We believe in the Great Commission of Jesus. We are seeking to help others become disciples, not only in the Birmingham area, but around the world.
